This is an educational site devoted to the research and clinical aspects of venous disease, including such topics as varicose veins, venous thromboembolism (VTE), chronic venous insufficiency including the post-thrombotic syndrome, and anticoagulation issues. It is intended to be a source of education for doctors, nurses, allied health personnel, and patients.
